Homemade Beef Jerky
Ingredients:
1 10 lb eye of round beef roast (fat-free)
1-liter soy sauce
1 cup liquid smoke
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp granulated garlic
1 tbsp granulated onion
1 tsp chile pepper
1 tsp of cayenne pepper
Directions:
Cut eye of round into 2 inches wide and 1/8 inch thick strips
Put the meat into a marinade and Ziploc it
Rest meat in the marinade for 24 to 48 hours (give it a good mix every 12 hours)
Now dehydrate it! Time depends on the quality of your machine (should be anywhere between 72-160 hours
