Homemade Beef Jerky

Ingredients:

  • 1 10 lb eye of round beef roast (fat-free)

  • 1-liter soy sauce

  • 1 cup liquid smoke

  • 2 cups brown sugar

  • 1 cup Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp granulated garlic

  • 1 tbsp granulated onion

  • 1 tsp chile pepper

  • 1 tsp of cayenne pepper

Directions:

  1. Cut eye of round into 2 inches wide and 1/8 inch thick strips

  2. Put the meat into a marinade and Ziploc it

  3. Rest meat in the marinade for 24 to 48 hours (give it a good mix every 12 hours)

  4. Now dehydrate it! Time depends on the quality of your machine (should be anywhere between 72-160 hours
